Cancer Focus
The discovery and development of new natural product inhibitors of cancer that provide new and unusual targets
Research Program
Research Interest
I have published more than 265 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters primarily involving the characterization and pharmacology of new secondary metabolites from marine organisms with utility as drug leads for the control of cancer. Our lab routinely uses NMR and MS studies to characterize complex peptides, polyketides, and alkaloids from a diversity of phylogenetic groups including dinoflagellates, bacteria, fungi, macroalgae, marine invertebrates, and plants.
