My work mainly focuses on improving cancer outcomes and mitigating disparities among underserved communities, as well as increasing access to and utilization of cancer preventive services in vulnerable and minoritized populations.

Research Interest

I am an Assistant Professor of Public Health Sciences at the Medical University of South Carolina with research training in epidemiology, health disparities, access to and utilization of preventive healthcare services among minoritized and medically underserved populations, and epidemiological methods to access hard-to-reach populations. Much of my current research focuses on elucidating and addressing disparities in access to and utilization of cervical cancer prevention and treatment, as well as mitigating disparate cervical cancer outcomes.
