Research Interest
I am a Professor of Surgery and the BMW Endowed Chair in Cancer Research, and Co-Leader of the Developmental Cancer Therapeutics Program at Hollings Cancer Center. I have served as the director of the Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP) at MUSC since August 2017. I am a physician-scientist, performing research in basic science, clinical trials, medical device development, and entrepreneurship.
