Research Interest
As an Associate Professor of Medicine at the esteemed Medical University of South Carolina, my research focus centers on clinical and translational studies relating to breast cancer. I am a firm believer in the importance of merging molecular advancements with clinical trials to ensure effective research outcomes. This necessitates a seamless "bench-to-bedside" approach that requires robust collaboration between both clinicians and scientists. My ultimate ambition is to foster a connection between our basic and clinical researchers at MUSC, helping to bridge the gap and further advance our understanding of this pervasive disease.
