Research Program
Research Interest
I have spent the last twelve years conducting research in tobacco regulatory science. My research is multidisciplinary and has spanned pre-clinical, laboratory, and clinical models. I have significant expertise in human laboratory assessments of tobacco use, including expertise in behavioral economic assessments. I also have substantial expertise in experimental assessments of tobacco product regulation. The bulk of this research has focused on a potential policy that would reduce the level of nicotine within cigarettes to a nonaddictive level, but I also have significant expertise in non-cigarette tobacco products and their regulation.
